About Dabrina Forrester

Hi! My name is Dabrina Forrester. I'm a (first class) graduate from the Computer Games Programming course at Kingston University. I am currently looking for work within the Quality assurance, Games or UI/UX industry. During my studies, I have created/developed games in both the Unity and Unreal engine. The process of developing games includes rigorous testing, and that skill translates very well to QA. I also have greatly considered the UI and UX for my games/projects to make sure no group is excluded and all could comfortably play my games or projects. I am currently focused on a career in quality assurance, and thankfully ex fellow students have a lot of games that need to be critiqued and tested. I always give them intensive and unique suggestions to further improve their projects.

I have many interests, maybe too many, but to list some, I love playing and making music, drawing and of course, playing video games. I possess a range of instrumental skills; I can play the piano, ukulele, bass, and guitar. I have a deep appreciation for classical instruments and hope to expand my repertoire further by learning the cello in the future. Leveraging my instrumental abilities, I have created numerous compositions using DAWs such as Logic Pro and GarageBand. In relation to drawing, I spend a lot of my free time doodling or drawing on Procreate. I have also ventured into pixel art since making a pixel game during my first year in university. Last, but not least, I am a gamer and have been for as long as I remember. Some of my earliest memories include playing video games with my cousin. There are many games that I love, but my favourite game is Xenoblade Chronicles 2, followed by Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Basically, the whole trilogy.

If you ever wish to get in touch with me or delve deeper into my background, please feel free to take a look at my that has been CV provided below.  Feel free to also take a look at some of my projects!! Thank you for reading!! :)
