Project Breakdown: Reality Runner is my final year project so I am free to do whatever I please! I've been wanting to make a pixel game for a while, so I decided to make my final year project a pixel game. At first, I was going to make an RPG, but I decided to go with a platformer as I am interested in designing multiple levels, different enemies and different platforms.

The aim of Reality Runner is to traverse the world/different platforms to find your way home. To your surprise, you woke up in a world that you don't recognise. However, all you know is that you want to return home. It's not as easy as it seems as you've got many enemies to defeat along the way. Reality Runner will have 5 worlds and 22 levels. World 1-4 will have 5 levels each and World 5 will have 2, one being a procedurally generated endless runner. Reality Runner's target audience is everyone. There are no themes within the game that is harmful or inappropriate to any group.
