Time is slim

I am running out of time. AGAIN!! Imagine. My progress has slowed down again due to my family member very being unwell, but I'm trying to keep up with things. I have 3 boss sprites that need to be drawn and but I'm feeling a bit nervous about one of the designs so I'm going to change it... I'm just not good at drawing pixel trees!! However, I have a background to implement that has multiple trees so I'm going to try my hand at that, but I don't even know how it's going to go. I've been focusing on trying to finish off the backgrounds for the levels so I can implement the parallax effect. I initially planned to have parallax backgrounds so I've already done the art for it, but if I run out of time I might have to sacrifice them... That will be so sad since they are one of the main things I was so excited for. Imagine if I did all that extra drawing and then the parallax doesn't work.... AHHHH it's fine. The powerup boxes also have not been working correctly, for some reason the power up has been spawning above the boxes when I had an animator that makes the appear beside the box. The player is unable to jump and reach the power up so it's a bit of an issue. I'm thinking of specifying within the code where the powerup itself spawns to prevent this issue from happening.


My plan for the rest of the evening is to implement the black hole enemy functionality, revisit power-up boxes and continue drawing the backgrounds. Wish me luck.
